Dingdang for Slack

Dingdang, Your AI Agent in Slack

Ask for a chart or report where your team is already talking. Dingdang uses connected business Apps and returns the result to Slack.

Set Up Dingdang

Ask in Slack. Get a PostHog Chart Back.

28-second product demo with an English interface. Figures shown are part of the demonstration, not customer outcomes or a processing-time guarantee.
The Request
Count how often a product action occurred each day this month and draw a bar chart. The event used in the recording is named agent_command_called.
The Result
The thread contains daily counts, a chart, and a note that the current day's data is incomplete. This task needs a PostHog connection with access to the project.

Message Dingdang Directly or Mention It in a Channel

Direct Messages
Open Dingdang from Apps in Slack and send your request.
Team Channels
Add Dingdang to the channel, then @mention it. In the demo, the reply stays in the thread with the original question.

Connect Slack, Then the Apps You Work With

In Dingdang Console, select your bot and open its Slack connection. Confirm the workspace, then authorize the business Apps the task needs. Slack installation approval follows your workspace's policy.

Each App still uses its own account permissions. Set connection access for the intended members, and check who will receive the result in the channel.

DMs, Channels, and Troubleshooting

The Slack App guide covers reading and sending Slack messages through a business connector. It is separate from using Dingdang as your teammate in Slack.
