Get Started With Dingdang
Dingdang works in team chat and uses connected Apps and reusable Skills to carry out tasks. Start with one task whose source information and expected result you can check.
Invite Dingdang and connect an account
- Open Dingdang and follow the setup instructions for your chat platform.
- Choose a business app from Apps. Check whether it supports the work you need.
- Open Connections, select the account, and review the requested access before authorizing it.
- Return to chat and tell Dingdang which app, information, and output to use.
Connecting a chat platform lets you talk to Dingdang there. Access to email, CRM records, or documents requires the relevant business-app connection and permissions.
Assign a first task
For example, with a supported document app connected:
Find the notes for [project] in [connected app]. Summarize the decisions and open questions, and include links to the source documents. Only read the documents.
Supply the actual project, app, and date range. Check the sources in the result before using the summary. If information is missing, confirm that the connected account can access it and that the required action is supported.
Reuse a working method
Skills provide reusable task instructions. Review a Skill’s instructions and required Apps before installing or using it. For recurring work, specify the schedule, destination, and what should trigger an update. Verify those details when Dingdang sets up the task.
